Waterdrop Weather Station - Get Your Weather Egg On
Looking more like a weather egg than a weather water-drop, this weather station from Sharper Image features an illuminated LCD screen, forecast icons with color code; temperature (F°/C° indoor/outdoor); humidity (25% - 95%); maximum temperature and humidity; barometric pressure (24-hour); moon phase; and U.S. Atomic time and date; alarm clock setting. We like the easy to read display, and when we visited in-store we thought it was large at first, but the size really helps the readability from a good 10-15 feet.
- Includes outdoor sensor with 433MHz transmitter (runs on 2 AA batteries, order batteries separately).
- Hands-free infrared sensor — wave your hand within three inches to turn off the alarm clock and activate a five-minute snooze. Also illuminates the screen for five seconds.
- Plugs in with AC adapter (included).
- Can also be powered by 4 AA batteries (order separately).
The in-store model looks good. It's a bit
more red and more glossy.
