Rain Forecasting Umbrella - A Weather Guru in an Umbrella

rainforecastingumbrella_2.jpg

We like the simplicity in this weather forecasting umbrella - the color indicates the type of weather - blue for rain and yellow for sunny. Simple and elegant, we think concepts of ambient information about the weather throughout your day is the way to go. No need to yell at you from a weather radio, when you can pulse a color and get the same results.

How does it work? The Forecast Umbrella is embedded with wi-fi technology that pulls weather info from the Internet. The more intense the glow of the handle, the more ardent the umbrella's calling for you to take it along at that moment. This is still only a prototype, but we expect them to be available within the year.
