Nabaztag Wifi Weather Forecasting Smart Rabbit

We've got one of these crazy WIFI rabbits, and every morning it tells us if it's going to be sunny, rain, or whatever weather is going to happen. Nabaztag can move his ears, play music, talk and whistle, and his body can show off hundreds of colors and special patterns of light.

Ambient Devices 7 Day Forecaster

We recently saw this updated and rather large forecaster at Sharper Image. We have the 5 day version, and can see why covering all the days of the week in the 7 day version might be a good idea. The 7-Day Forecaster boasts a six- by six-inch screen, and will show "current conditions and an extended multi-day forecast for 150 locations in the United States." Also the 7 day has information about the UV Index, wind speed and direction, pollen alerts and air quality alerts. We like the updates - especially the wind speed - as it really can help to determine the true temperature. Also - having weather alert warnings should be a standard on any forecasting weather device.

First Impressions: Oregon Scientific WMR200 Professional Weather Station
So far we've really been impressed with the
Oregon Scientific WMR200 Professional Weather Station. The interface for the touch screen weather data is really quite well done - easy to read - and easy to navigate. The set up of the weather station was also pretty straightforward - it took about 45 minute to deploy all the sensors and set them up in our back yard. We'll have more details as we test, but so far so good.
